About the plugin
With Pickware POS, you sell directly from your online shop in the shop or at trade fairs. This allows you to document all sales and goods issues centrally in one system, eliminates error-prone synchronisation processes and saves you duplicate data storage.
Requirements for use
To use Pickware POS, you need Pickware ERP, which is already included free of charge in the Shopware Professional Edition for Shopware 5. However, you need an active subscription to install updates. If you are not yet a Shopware customer, please visit the Shopware website to purchase the corresponding licences.
To complete the POS system, cash drawers, receipt printers and barcode scanners are usually required. You can find an overview of the compatible hardware in our Pickware Shop. You can also find more information on the topic of hardware in this article.
Note on use of Pickware POS in Germany
For use in Germany, you need a Pickware account and a fiskaly account to make payments at the cash register after 01.04.2021 in accordance with the legal requirements of the KassenSichV. Both accounts are created as part of the app setup. If you do not operate a store in Germany, you only need a Pickware account in which the name of your stores and the country are stored.
