General note
In order for your scanner(s) or your cash drawer to be permanently connected to your iOS device via Bluetooth, you need to grant the app access to the Bluetooth function. To do this, open the app settings on your iPad / iPod / iPhone and search for the respective app. Activate the Bluetooth option there.
Receipt printer or cash drawer for Pickware POS
To use a Bluetooth receipt printer in Pickware POS, you first need to connect it via Bluetooth using the general Bluetooth settings of your iPad / iPod. You can find instructions for the hardware we recommend on the following manufacturer's pages:

Hand Scanner for Pickware POS
To use the Hand Scanner as a barcode scanner in the POS app, you first need to set the scanner to iOS mode and then connect it via Bluetooth using the general settings of your iPad / iPod. Please note that for this, the scanner must not be connected to the iPad/iPod via Bluetooth.
- Switch on the scanner and check that the barcode capture laser is visible when the scan button is pressed.
- Scan the following barcode to put the scanner into iOS mode. After a successful scan, the scanner will beep three times.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your iPad/iPod. After a short search, the scanner should be found and you can connect it to your iPad/iPod. The scanner setup is now complete.
By default, the scanner goes into standby mode after five minutes of not being used and must then first reconnect to the iPad when reactivated. The scanner manufacturer offers an alternative mode in which the scanner remains active for eight hours. Simply scan the barcode below. The battery will discharge more quickly with this setting, so remember to charge the scanner daily.

Barcode Scanner for Pickware POS
The POS Barcode Scanner is connected to the cash drawer or the receipt printer via USB cable and is thus automatically connected to the Pickware POS app.
As the POS app triggers its own beep when scanning, it is recommended to deactivate the scanner's beep. To do this, scan the barcode below. You will also find this in the manual provided by the manufacturer on page 52. In the instructions you will also find many other setting options that you can easily make by scanning barcodes.
Card payment devices
The devices for card payment via ZVT and Zettle by Paypal are set up as part of the app setup of the POS app.
Barcode scanner cover for Pickware WMS
To connect the barcode scanner case to your iPod or iPhone, simply open the barcode scanner case by pulling off the top, placing your device inside and closing the case again. No further steps are necessary. You can find more information about the barcode scanner in the respective user manual for the Linea Pro 5 or Linea Pro 7. You can find the name of your model on the packaging of the case.
