To uninstall a plugin, open the plugin manager, select Uninstall and confirm the procedure. You will then be asked whether you want to delete all associated data. If you deny this, you can install the plugin again at a later time without having to reconfigure it.
Alternatively, you can also deactivate a plugin. In this way, your data remains in any case and only the functions of the plugin are no longer available. Please note, however, that the plugin in question will continue to be billed despite deactivation.
Please note that some plugins are interdependent. Therefore, before uninstalling them, you should always check whether this could cause any problems.
Important notes on the plugin Gift Vouchers
If you want to uninstall this plugin, please note the following information:
1. What happens to already purchased (and partially redeemed) vouchers when the plugin is uninstalled?
2. The settings made here should be reversed, otherwise error messages may appear in your shop.
Specifically, this means:
- Under Configuration → Basic Settings → Frontend → Shipping costs module in Extended SQL Query, delete the following expression:
,MIN(IFNULL(at.viison_coupon, 0)) AS allviisoncoupon
- Delete the shipping method created specifically for vouchers.
- Delete the following expression from all other shipping types under Configuration → Shipping Costs → Advanced configurations → Terms:
!allviisoncoupon
